Drake has reportedly crossed 10 billion Spotify streams in 2026, putting him within reach of the biggest hip-hop streaming year ever recorded on the platform. The milestone places the Canadian rapper firmly in record-breaking territory following the release of his latest project.
Three new albums have cemented Drake's grip on the hip-hop charts in recent months, with streams and chart positions both climbing to career highs.
Iceman fuels the surge
Much of the momentum is credited to Iceman, Drake's latest album, which streamed 450.4 million times worldwide in its debut week alone. That figure was enough to make Iceman the most-streamed album globally in its opening week. The release joins a list of landmark rap records that includes Drake's own Certified Lover Boy and Scorpion, as well as Travis Scott's Utopia and Playboi Carti's Music.
Spotify milestones
Drake had already made history before the 10 billion mark, having become just the second rapper ever to surpass 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Kendrick Lamar is the only other rapper to have reached that threshold. Bruno Mars and Ariana Grande, however, remain ahead of Drake in overall monthly listener counts on the platform.
