Britney Spears reveals she still dreams of welcoming another baby after pregnancy loss

Britney Spears has opened up about her ongoing hope of becoming a mother again, four years after suffering a heartbreaking pregnancy loss.

The 44-year-old pop icon, who is already a mother to sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, revealed that she still dreams of welcoming another baby.

Britney shared the emotional message while marking Father’s Day in the US on Sunday, June 21, posting a video of herself playing guitar on Instagram.

Alongside the clip, the Toxic singer wrote that the instrument reminded her of “baby aliens” and shared that she bought it in Mexico with hopes for the future.

“I bought this one in Mexico in hopes one day I can have another baby,” Britney wrote.

The revelation comes four years after Britney announced she was expecting a child with then-husband Sam Asghari.

The couple revealed in May 2022 that they had sadly lost the pregnancy early on.

In a joint statement at the time, Britney and Sam described the loss as a devastating moment and asked fans for privacy while they grieved.

The couple later separated in 2023 and finalized their divorce.

Britney’s journey through motherhood has been complicated over the years. Her two sons, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, moved to Hawaii to live with their father, leading to a period of distance between the singer and her children.

However, reports later suggested Britney and her sons had begun rebuilding their relationship following her legal troubles.

Sources previously claimed that her sons encouraged her to seek support after a DUI incident, with one insider saying they were a major motivation for Britney to enter a rehabilitation program.

Britney checked into a rehab facility in April and later pleaded guilty to reckless driving connected to the incident, receiving probation as part of a plea agreement.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Britney’s latest message shows that her hopes for motherhood and family remain an important part of her life.
