Benny Blanco is making an unusual journey to reunite with his wife, Selena Gomez, revealing that he is crossing the Atlantic Ocean by boat because of his long-standing fear of flying.

The music producer shared the update in a TikTok video filmed aboard a ship as he traveled to London, where Gomez has been filming the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building since May.

In the clip, Blanco joked about his mode of transportation, writing: "POV: ur traveling across the atlantic in the titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying."

He captioned the video, "the things we do for love."

Gomez, 33, has been based in London for several months while working on the hit Hulu series, although she briefly returned to New York earlier this year to attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.

The actress and singer has also shared updates from the set on social media throughout filming.

Last month, Gomez posted a series of photos with Blanco as the couple spent time apart, writing: "distance means so little when someone means so much.... itsbennyblanco mish you bb."

Blanco, 38, has previously spoken openly about his fear of flying.

During a 2024 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he revealed that he regularly travels to Europe by ship instead of by plane.

"I don't fly," Blanco said at the time. "I took a boat to Europe. I literally take the Titanic to Europe."

He also recalled watching the film Titanic with Ed Sheeran while crossing the Atlantic during a previous voyage.

The couple married on Sept. 27, 2025, after first making their relationship public in late 2023.

Meanwhile, Blanco is also preparing for the release of his upcoming album Hermoso, which is scheduled to arrive on Aug. 14.

Its first single, Joven y Salvaje, featuring Bb trickz, has already been released.
