Leven Rambin explains why she left 'Fire Country'

Leven Rambin has revealed the personal reason behind her departure from Fire Country, explaining that stepping away from the hit CBS drama was the right decision as she focuses on starting a family.

The 36-year-old actress, who portrayed Audrey James in the series, addressed fans' questions in a TikTok video, saying her decision was driven by priorities outside of work rather than any issues with the show.

"A lot of you have asked, why did I leave Fire Country? I hope that it's clear now why I left. I knew I wanted to start my family," Rambin said.

The Hunger Games actress explained that the demanding filming schedule made it difficult to balance her personal goals.

"I did not want to be away for eight to nine months at a time," she said, adding that the commitment "was just not conducive to my timeline."

Rambin also revealed she needed to prioritise her health as part of her fertility journey.

"I knew that there were some health things that I needed to prioritise in order to probably get to the road to having a family," she shared.

The actress said delaying those plans by another year no longer felt like the right choice.

"I felt like I needed to devote some time to this in my life. If I push this by another year, I'm just pushing it by another year, which doesn't serve me at all," she explained.

Rambin stressed that her departure was amicable and left the door open to returning to the series in the future.

"We ended on very good terms, and maybe I could pop back in one day," she said. "But this is very important and a woman has to choose at a certain point in her life what she's gonna focus on."

Fire Country season four premiered in October 2025 and concluded in May 2026. The fifth season is scheduled to debut on October 9, 2026.
