Suki Waterhouse reveals plans to return home with Robert Pattinson

Suki Waterhouse has revealed that she hopes to one day return to London and raise her family in the city where she grew up.

The 34-year-old actress and singer currently lives in Los Angeles with her fiancé, Robert Pattinson, and their two-year-old daughter, but she believes the move back to the UK is part of their future.

Speaking to the Daily Mail's Richard Eden, Waterhouse said she can see herself eventually settling near the River Thames.

“I know I will return to London at some point and probably end up living somewhere near where I grew up,” she said.

“I’m aware that the season of life I’m in right now is fleeting.”

The Daisy Jones & The Six star explained that their current lifestyle allows them to travel more freely while their daughter is still young, but she expects that to change over time.

“You’ve got a young baby; you’re able to move around a lot. Both me and my partner have a lot going on in our lives,” she said.

“But I look towards the future, knowing this moment’s fleeting, and think I’ll go back and live by the River Thames.”

Waterhouse also recently reflected on how becoming parents has changed her relationship with Pattinson, describing it as the beginning of a new chapter.

In an interview with Variety, she admitted the months after welcoming their daughter were emotionally challenging as she adjusted to motherhood.

“It’s also a new relationship,” she said. “Your old relationship has been wiped out, and so it’s building that new one and kind of celebrating the beauty in that, like, we’ve survived this.”

The actress added that she and Pattinson are determined to keep their daughter out of the spotlight for as long as possible.

“I think it really is possible to keep as much of your life private as possible,” she said. “You don’t want someone to recognise your kid in the street; it’s a safety thing.”

Waterhouse also joked that while her daughter may one day choose a completely different career, she already appears to have a theatrical personality.

Meanwhile, Pattinson previously shared how fatherhood transformed his outlook on children, admitting he had never considered himself “the biggest fan of kids” before becoming a parent.

“I think it’s absolutely wonderful,” the actor told GQ. “Everyone does seem to think their kid is the coolest kid. I definitely think… my kid, you can actually hang with her. She’s great.”

He also revealed that spending more than 10 days away from his daughter now feels like “physical pain,” adding that parenthood has completely changed his priorities.
