Pamela Anderson breaks silence on returning for 'Baywatch' reboot

Pamela Anderson has revealed she has not been approached to appear in the upcoming Baywatch reboot, saying she has no plans to revisit the iconic series that made her a global star.

The actress, who played lifeguard C.J. Parker during the first five seasons of the hit drama, said she knows very little about Fox's new version of the show.

"No one's reached out to me. I don't know much about it," Anderson told Deadline.

She added that producers had previously spoken with her sons, Brandon and Dylan Lee, about becoming involved behind the scenes, but those discussions ultimately did not move forward.

"I don't think they had a meeting of the minds. I'm not sure what happened there, but I wish them well," she said.

Although Anderson looks back fondly on her time with Baywatch, she made it clear she has no intention of returning.

"It was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach," she said. "It taught me a lot, and it gave me worldwide exposure."

Despite appreciating everything the series brought to her career, Anderson said she is focused on exploring new opportunities rather than revisiting the past.

"I have no plans of going back to Baywatch," she said.

The actress admitted she may have considered returning if her sons had been involved in the reboot, but she now wants to challenge herself with fresh roles.

"I want to make really bold choices. I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself," Anderson explained, adding that she is also considering a return to theatre.

Meanwhile, former Baywatch star Carmen Electra recently shared advice for the reboot's cast, urging them to arrive in top physical condition and sharpen their swimming skills, describing the role as far more demanding than many people realise.
