Ojani Noa recalls alleged incidents involving Jennifer Lopez and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Jennifer Lopez’s former husband, Ojani Noa, has made new claims about the singer’s past relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that she was once “in fear of her life.”

Noa, who was married to Lopez for less than a year before their divorce in 1998, shared the allegations in a recent interview with The Sun on Sunday.

His claims have not been independently verified, and neither Lopez nor Combs has publicly responded to the latest remarks.

According to Noa, he remained friends with Lopez after their marriage ended and claimed he came to her aid following an alleged confrontation involving Combs at a birthday party in Los Angeles.

“It was the year she dumped him,” Noa claimed. “We were still friends and we had decided to start over again.”

He alleged that Combs arrived uninvited at the gathering, leading to a heated exchange between the two men before Lopez intervened.

Noa also claimed that, weeks later, Lopez contacted him because she was frightened after Combs allegedly appeared outside her Los Angeles home.

“She said she was scared and afraid so I instantly left work and came over,” Noa alleged.

He further claimed that police eventually arrived at the scene after a neighbour called authorities, adding that Combs left before officers reached the property.

Noa also alleged that Lopez had previously told him Combs had threatened her and her family. These allegations have not been substantiated, and no evidence was presented to support the claims.

The former couple’s relationship ended before Lopez began her highly publicised romance with Combs, whom she dated on and off between 1999 and early 2001.

Reflecting on the breakdown of his marriage, Noa claimed Lopez grew closer to Combs while working on her debut album, On the 6.

He alleged that although Lopez initially denied there was a romantic relationship, he later became convinced she was involved with the music producer.

“She would tell me it was just work,” Noa claimed. “Then a picture appeared in magazines of her sitting on Diddy’s lap.”

Noa said tensions continued to grow between them before their marriage ultimately ended.

Since then, Lopez has gone on to marry and divorce choreographer Cris Judd, singer Marc Anthony and actor Ben Affleck.

Combs is currently facing legal consequences in an unrelated federal case after being convicted on prostitution-related offences, while being acquitted on other charges.
