Tom Holland hilariously dodges kids' questions about marriage to Zendaya

Tom Holland found himself facing some of his toughest interviewers yet after a group of schoolchildren quizzed him about his marriage to Zendaya during an appearance on the web series Celebrity Substitute.

The 30-year-old actor, who teaches stunts to a classroom of New York City students in the upcoming episode, was caught off guard when one child bluntly asked whether he was married.

"Are you married?" student Victor asked, prompting a visibly amused Holland to pause before answering.

"Uh, that is a very important question," he replied. "I am—"

Stopping himself mid-sentence, the Spider-Man star joked, "You guys obviously haven't been media trained like the publicists that I speak with."

Although Holland avoided giving a direct answer in the classroom, one student remained unconvinced.

"He's definitely married. I don't know why he avoided my question," Victor later said during a confessional interview.

Holland was more forthcoming when another student asked whether he takes Zendaya on dates.

"Yeah, all the time," he answered with a smile. "My favorite thing to do."

The light-hearted exchange comes after Holland confirmed in June that he and Zendaya had quietly married following years of speculation about their relationship.

The couple, who first met while filming 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, have since become one of Hollywood's most beloved pairs while keeping much of their personal life out of the spotlight.

They recently reunited on screen in The Odyssey and are set to appear together again in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which arrives in cinemas on July 30.

Celebrity Substitute features celebrities visiting classrooms to interact with students, with previous guests including Quinta Brunson, Gigi Hadid, A$AP Rocky and FKA Twigs.

This season will also feature appearances by Millie Bobby Brown and KATSEYE.
