Dua Lipa makes waves in mermaid-inspired look at 'Barbie' premiere in LA

Dua Lipa stole the spotlight at the premiere of Barbie in Los Angeles as she channeled her character, Mermaid Barbie, from head to tail.

The pop star arrived on the pink carpet in a glitzy and sheer Bottega Veneta gown that paid homage to her blue-haired Barbie character.

The crystalline fishnet dress added a touch of sparkle and fun to her look, perfectly matching the mermaid theme.

The New Rules hitmaker let the dress take center stage and accessorized with pointy metallic pumps, simple silver jewelry, and Tiffany & Co. white-gold rings, hoop earrings, and a diamond necklace.

Her signature shade of pink was also incorporated into her outfit with classic French nails painted in OPI's 'Hi, Barbie!' shade.

As one of the stars featured on the film's soundtrack, the Levitating singer expressed her excitement about being part of such a special project with an incredible cast.

She felt lucky to have been asked by director Greta Gerwig to portray the mermaid character in the film.

The pop star shared her premiere look on Instagram, delighting fans with snapshots of her lounging on a green couch off the pink carpet.

The highly anticipated film Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling is set to release on July 21, 2023.
