'My Fault' star Gabriel Guevara arrested on sexual assault charges at Venice Film Festival
Gabriel Guevara is in protective custody, awaiting a ruling by the Venice court of appeals regarding his case

Spanish actor Gabriel Guevara, best known for his role in the Spanish Amazon Prime teen film franchise My Fault, found himself in the midst of controversy during the Venice Film Festival as he was arrested on charges of alleged sexual assault.
The 22-year-old actor had arrived on the Lido, as evident from Instagram stories he shared prior to his arrest.

His visit to Venice was intended for him to receive the Filming Italy prize, an accolade unrelated to the Venice Film Festival itself.
However, before his arrival in Italy, an international warrant had been issued for Guevara's alleged involvement in a sexual assault case in France.
The arrest took place on the Lido on a Saturday, with the initial report appearing in the Venice daily La Nuova Venezia.
Representatives for Guevara remained inaccessible for immediate comments regarding the incident.
Presently, Gabriel Guevara is in protective custody, awaiting a ruling by the Venice court of appeals regarding his case.
The specific charges against him have not been disclosed to the public.
On Sunday, the Venice Film Festival issued an official statement to address the situation, emphasizing that Guevara's visit to Venice had no association with the events or productions affiliated with the 80th Venice International Film Festival.
The statement read, "Following the news articles which have been emerging on various websites, regarding the Spanish actor Gabriel Guevara being arrested in Venice, the Biennale hereby clarifies that his presence in Venice was not linked to any events or productions related to the 80th Venice International Film Festival."
