Jimmy Kimmel "enthused" to host the 2024 Oscars
Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the 96th Academy Awards on March 10, 2024

Jimmy Kimmel, is going to be back on the stage to host the 2024 Oscar Awards, scheduled to held on March 10, 2024 at Dolby Theatre.
The American Comedian took to his Instagram account to announce the news with an ecstatic and subtly funny caption.
"I am enthused to announce that I am returning to host the #Oscars on Sunday March 10th. Please keep it between us, thanks. @TheAcademy."
As reported by Variety, Kimmel said in a statement, “I always dreamed of hosting the Oscars exactly four times.”
The Academy Awards, or more commonly known as The Oscars will be hosted by the Jimmy Kimmel Live show host, alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Jack Lemmon. All three of them would be hosting the award ceremony for the fourth time.
Meanwhile, Molly McNearney, an Emmy nominee will also return to the 2024 Oscars as an executive producer for the second consecutive year in a row.
McNearney in her statement said that she’s “especially honored to be part of the Oscars team this year.”
The Academy Awards CEO Bill Kramer also expressed his thoughts on the arrival of the 56-year old host and his wife as an executive producer at the 2024 Oscars.
“We are thrilled about Jimmy returning to host and Molly [McNearney] returning as executive producer for the Oscars,” said Kramer.
Oscars nominated films of 2023:
The Oscars nominated films of 2023 are a collection of very famous motion pictures, with the two most prominent being Warner Bros’, Barbie and Universal Pictures’, Oppenheimer.
The two movies created the “Barbenheimer” summer hype that dominated movie theatres, social media as well as the pop culture.

Both are expected to be in a neck-to-neck battle as they compete in the race for best picture alongside acclaimed movies such as American Fiction, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro and Poor Things.
The 2023 Oscars:
It is pertinent to note that the American TV personality has previously hosted the 2023 Oscars that saw immense viewership success. His hosting attracted around 18.8 million viewers on average, a 13% increase with respect to the 2022 Oscars.
