Park Bom leaves fans in shock with unrecognizable look

K-pop star Park Bom has left her fans in shock with recent selfies on social media, where she looked almost unrecognizable.

As reported by Daily Mail, the 39-year-old, known for her time in the K-pop group 2NE1 since 2009, shared pictures that made her followers wonder if she had undergone plastic surgery or was using a lot of filters.

In the images, the I Am the Best singer features seemed altered, with noticeably larger eyes and a fuller pout.

As soon as Park shared the pictures, fans expressed their shocking reactions on her unrecognizable and changed look.

One person wrote, “Can't even recognize you anymore, too much filter or too much surgery?”

“I really love 2NE1 but Bom's face really changed,” while the another penned.

A third wrote, “Her face pics look scary something, but then again, it's her life. Whatever makes her happy.”

“Girl, you are already naturally beautiful, don't put these stupid filters on your face, love you,” another person noted.

Park Bom set the record straight on plastic surgery:

The Lonely singer has repeatedly denied having plastic surgery despite the ongoing speculation about her possible cosmetic changes.

Bom has also shared the weight gain was caused by lymphadenitis, a condition that can make her face swell.

Previously, Park also mentioned her struggle with maintaining a diet due to attention deficit disorder (ADD).

Back in 2020, her record label also refuted rumors of the star's surgery, attributing the changes to stress-induced weight gain during a public appearance.

They said, “Some people say she got plastic surgery, but that's not the case.”

"She has had a hard time for a while due to stress, so, we assured her to just be comfortable until her next album comes out. This has led to a slight weight gain which affected her facial feature as well,” they added.
