Ariana Madix takes legal action against Tom Sandoval for shared LA home

Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval are reportedly in a legal dispute over their shared Los Angeles home.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE magazine, on Friday, Madix and Sandoval are in a disagreement about selling the home they co-own, and still cohabitate months after their breakup.

The Vanderpump Rules  star wants that the court would order her and Sandoval to sell their property, which they purchased jointly in 2019, as a "partition by sale," which means they will sell the house and share the revenues.

Per the court documents, Madix is also seeking a "fair division of the proceeds of sale." 

This request will encompass the "payment of debt secured by same and the costs of partition," along with the inclusion of attorneys' fees and title expenses.

On the other hand,  the Behind Your Eyes actor is said to be against a "division in kind," where both would keep part of the property, allowing one to potentially sell their share to someone else, as mentioned in the court documents.

In August, during an episode of  Scheananigans with  Scheana Shay  podcast, the 38-year-old actress shared that she  and Sandoval lived together in a five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home.

Despite the unconventional arrangement, Madix mentioned feeling less anxious after the breakup while living together than when they were romantically involved and she was concerned about his whereabouts late at night.

The Buying Back My Daughter actress said, “I sleep a lot easier at night not giving a f--- about when he’s coming in that door,  yes, we’re in the same house but I don’t have to think, ‘He’s coming in my bedroom’  because he’s not, I sleep with my door locked, just in case.”
