Angelina Jolie's brother, James Haven, shared that he started looking out for her sister's kids after she split from Brad Pitt.

As reported by Page Six, during the 90who10 podcast, James revealed how he supported Angelina during her publicized personal struggles, admitting that he changed his life to prioritize family.

The Breaking Dawn actor told, "That's where it all started, it started with the protection of her and her children my nieces and nephews, I set my life up so I can be present with whatever the situation, I want to be there for them or for her whatever she's going through."

During the conversation with the show host Jessica Entner, James emphasized the importance of being there for the Taking Lives actress' children during their crucial growing-up years.

James said, "They're becoming young adults early 20s, I think it's just very natural and I just want to be there any time. Anytime I'm blessed to be in their presence, I want to be in their presence."

The former couple share six kids, 22-year-old adopted son Maddox, another 20-year-old adopted son Pax, 18-year-old adopted daughter Zahara, 17-year-old daughter Shiloh, and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Brad Pitt accused of abusing his children:

After the divorce of Angelina and Brad, the former couple reportedly had a fight on a private jet with their kids in 2016.

According to papers obtained by Page Six in October 2022, the 12 Monkeys actor was accused of "choking one of the children and hitting another in the face."

The documents also mentioned that he "grabbed Jolie's head and shook her."

It was stated that Brad poured beer on Angelina at one point and on the children at another, along with red wine.

Later, the 60-year-old star confessed to speaking loudly at his children but denied any physical actions.

A source close to the actor said at that time, "Brad may have been drinking, and admits that he yelled at his son, but he insists he did not hit him or attempt to harm him. It was a confrontation that got out of hand."
