Adam Sandler has paid a heartfelt tribute as he grapples with the unexpected loss of his Grown Ups co-star, Alec Musser.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the Leo star shared his touching words to extend his sorrow on the untimely death of Musser.
He peened the caption, “I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person.”
On Saturday, Paige Press, Musser's fiancée, verified that the Road To The Altar actor passed away at their residence in Del Mar. However, the cause of his death has not been disclosed yet.
Earlier in the day, reports surfaced indicating that the soap star, renowned for his role in All My Children, had died the previous night at his Del Mar, California home.
Additionally, Musser's uncle corroborated this tragic news to TMZ but refrained from divulging the cause behind his nephew's demise.
It is pertinent to mention that Musser collaborated with Sandler on the 2010 film, he was not part of the sequel that came out in 2013.
Additionally, he played the character Del Henry in the enduring television series All My Children.
His entry into the role in July 2005 came after winning the second season of the SOAPnet original series, I Wanna Be a Soap Star.
He remained on the show for a span of 43 episodes before departing from the drama series in 2007.
Alec Musser had roles in Desperate Housewives, Road to the Altar, and Rita Rocks as well.
