‘House of the Dragon’ season 2 drops on THIS date: Details
'House of the Dragon' season 2 received approval in August 2022 after the success of the first season
House of the Dragon fans can mark their calendars as the highly anticipated second season is set to premiere in June.
PEOPLE confirms the news that the highly anticipated season is slated to be released in June 2024, however, the exact date has not been unveiled yet.
According to Variety's report on Monday, J.B. Perrette, the head of streaming and gaming at Warner Bros. Discovery, disclosed the expected release time during his speech at Morgan Stanley's Technology, Media, and Telecom conference.
This update follows a hint from HBO and Max content chief Casey Bloys, during a press event in November 2023, that new episodes of the Game of Thrones prequel series would be released in the summer.
The first teaser of the House of Dragon was unveiled in December 2023, and it offered a glimpse into the action, fantasy and adventurous dynamics between the Targaryens and the Hightowers.
In the teaser, Princess Rhaenys (played by Eve Best) hints at future events by speaking to Rhaenyra Targaryen (portrayed by Emma D’Arcy), “There is no war so hateful to the Gods as a war between kin and no war so bloody as a war between dragons.”
