Celine Dion expressed her grief and sadness over the tragic loss of “great artist” and the composer Eric Carmen.

The My Heart Will Go On crooner reflected on the contributions of the lead vocalist of the Raspberries in music while penning the touching words for him.

Taking to her Instagram on Monday, Dion shared an image of Eric along with the heartfelt tribute.

She kicked off the post, “I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of a great artist, the composer Eric Carmen.”

The I’m Alive hitmaker expressed her gratitude, as she noted, “Eric, thank you for sharing your brilliance with the world, and giving me the chance to sing one of your most beautiful songs, ‘All By Myself.’”

She went on to say, “You gifted me with one of my most important songs, and gave me the opportunity to connect with my fans by reaching a new level of emotion.”

Dion concluded the emotional message, "We will always remember you…you will forever be in our hearts. With all my love, Celine xx…”
