King Charles hopeful for ‘reconciliation’ with Harry and Meghan?
King Charles is reportedly holding out great hope for a reunion with the both of Harry and his wife Meghan
King Charles may not be closing the doors on Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle just yet.
According to royal insider, The Sun journalist Phil Dampier, the latest name-change controversy with Meghan may upset the King.
Though, he is willing to overlook it in hopes of reuniting with his son, Harry.
“I doubt King Charles would like Meghan making references to the importance of Sussex as her name,” Phil has shared, adding, “But I’ve always felt he's reluctant to start any process of stripping her and Harry of their titles.”
The journalist has further claimed, “It would be difficult to do and he doesn’t want to make the rift any worse, hoping one day there might be a reconciliation with his son.”
Phil has also explained however, that Meghan’s Netflix show won’t be of much help in the process.
“The show won’t do anything to help mend the rift between them as it’s mainly just drivel about re-arranging fruit and lighting candles,” he has stated.
The royal expert continued to reveal that the royal family in England may even check out the Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, “out of curiosity”.
“I’m sure if you asked their spokesmen both the King and William and Kate would say they won’t be watching Meghan’s show but it’s hard to believe they wouldn’t take a sneak look out of curiosity.”
However, a reunion eventually depends on both the parties mending their ways.
“At least Meghan is trying to make money out of something else besides criticising the royal family. But any family reconciliation will take a lot longer and a real changing of attitudes on all sides,” the journalist has asserted.
