Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's unexpected Australian gift defies tradition, leaves them in stitches

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were presented with a playful present in Sydney today that left them laughing heartily.
Prince Harry, 41, and Meghan Markle, 44, visited the famous Sydney Harbour on the last day of their adventure Down Under.
The Duke enjoyed a dance with a four-year-old Australian girl before he set sail around the iconic waters of Sydney with his wife and those supporting the Invictus Games.
Harry and Meghan thrilled onlookers by having their pictures taken alongside the Sydney Opera House’s Man O’War steps, followed by a boat ride with former participants of the biennial games.
They were accompanied by a police escort, funded by Australian taxpayers, as they cruised around the well-known harbour.
Before stepping onto the boat, they were introduced to veteran Joel Vanderzwan, who gifted them with personalised flip-flops, affectionately termed thongs in Australia, featuring the cheeky greetings "G'day Hazza" and "G'day Megs".
Meghan burst into hearty laughter upon receiving the gift, while Harry appeared quite amused.
The duke humorously remarked that he usually receives "budgie smugglers" from Invictus Australia instead.
Ever since the Invictus Games in Sydney in October 2018—the last occasion Harry and Meghan were in the nation—a tradition began after he was handed a pair of budgie smugglers in a moment that gained international fame.
The Invictus Games Foundation’s Patron consistently gets a pair of the notable Aussie swimwear at every Invictus Games he attends.
Later, they met Mr. Vanderzwan's four-year-old daughter, Charlotte; his spouse, Alexandra; and his nine-month-old twin sons, who, quite surprisingly, are named Harrison and William.
Meghan told Charlotte her husband was "excellent at twirling" before Harry got up to spin the girl around when she requested to dance with the prince.
The Sussexes then embarked on the water, surrounded by media boats striving to capture footage of the duo, while a helicopter hovered above amidst strong press interest during their Australia visit.
The boat Harry and Meghan sailed on was tailored to accommodate wheelchair users, making it accessible for injured veterans.
