Blake Lively recently got an unexpected ruling in the lawsuit filed against her It Ends with Us costar, Justin Baldoni.

According to Variety, the 37-year-old actress requested the court to limit the disclosure of certain sensitive information during the legal proceedings against her It Ends With Us director and co-star.

Now, Judge Lewis Liman on Thursday, March 13, approved Lively’s request to limit certain discovery material to “attorneys eyes only.”

According to the judge, discovery will necessarily include confidential and sensitive business and personal information as the risk of disclosure is higher.

The judge asserted that even if sensitive information is not leaked to the press, it could easily circulate by “gossip and innuendo to those in the tight artistic community in a position to do harm to one or the other.”

Judge Liman, however, did not grant everything that Lively’s attorneys asked for, noting that her request to limit any material “likely” to cause some injury was “very broad.”

Baldoni’s attorneys agreed that sensitive information should be kept confidential, but objected to the idea that the attorneys could not share it with their clients.

For the unversed, the costars are currently embroiled in an ongoing legal battle against each other in which the Another Simple Favor actress accused her costar of sexual harassment.

The 41-year-old actor,  meanwhile, accused the Gossip Girl alum of hijacking his directional film along with her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
