Mariah Carey is well known for her unique facial expressions and reactions.

Recently, fans went wild after witnessing her shocking reaction to Tori Kelly and Muni Long’s tribute performance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, which took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

On Monday March 17, the 55-year-old singer-songwriter and record producer went viral after an epic moment at the star-studded event.

As the medley tribute performance went on in her honour, the It’s a Wrap singer was seen to be looking dissatisfied on camera, just moments prior to receiving an accolade, the Icon Award.

As one of her iconic songs, We Belong Together, were sung on stage by the 36-year-old singer, the camera quickly shifted to the "Songbird Supreme’s" discontent look, giving a stern side-eye while some attendees were seen dancing and having a good time around her.

Although, it’s not clear what Mariah’s reaction truly meant but that didn’t stop fans from sharing their theories.

Fans stormed social media with clips of her reaction on X, formerly known as Twitter, with one saying, "This gif of Mariah Carey will go down in history."

Another quipped, "She was wondering why they didn’t book Ariana Grande."
