Victoria Beckham has opened up about the challenges her family has faced throughout 2025 following a highly publicised rift with her eldest son, Brooklyn.
Appearing on a recent episode of the Today show, the former Spice Girl discussed the "challenging year" with hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones.
While she refrained from naming Brooklyn directly, she made it clear that her priority remains the safety and unity of her household.
Responding to questions about how the high-profile family navigates such public scrutiny, she asserted that she and husband David will "always protect" their children.
"You know, myself and David, we're so close and we have incredible people around us," she explained during the broadcast.
She credited their strength to the support of their own parents and a shared sense of humour, noting that David is "super funny" and keeps the family laughing despite the tension.
"We love our children so much and have always really focused on protecting our children. We support each other through everything that we do," the singer-turned-designer revealed.
The comments follow a scathing Instagram statement posted by Brooklyn Beckham in January, in which he announced a separation from his parents.
The 27-year-old accused his famous parents of being "controlling" and suggested he had no immediate plans for reconciliation with them or his siblings, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Additionally, Brooklyn alleged that his mother behaved "inappropriately" during his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz.
Despite these accusations, Victoria maintains that the Beckham family remains a tight-knit unit focused on moving forward together.
