Matt James will be doing a lot of running in his new job
Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell met on the reality series, The Bachelor, around four years ago but broke up recently.
Moving on from his relationship, Matt has already embraced a new career as a field reporter for the Boston Marathon April 21.
“Boston Marathon from the runners POV!” he wrote in an Instagram post dated April 3. “Excited to be part of the @espn / @wcvb5 Boston Marathon broadcast team as a field correspondent.. literally in the field.”
He even shared his bib number which is 32541. His responsibilities will revolve around running and reporting on the marathon.
This will be his first run as a reporter having run Boston before as well as the New York marathon as a runner.
Matt further shared that he will be in one of the later shifts as there are two sets of participants – one early and the second a little after that. He also mentioned that he will be on the lookout for snacks and lemonade stands.
For the unversed, Matt James is a TV personality who appeared on the reality series The Bachelor.
