Shawn Mendes has sparked dating rumors after being spotted with a lady in LA.

On Tuesday, April 22,  Shawn stepped out with Portuguese singer and YouTube star, MARO, whose real name is Mariana Brito da Cruz Forjaz Secca to grab coffee.

The 26-year-old appeared happy and relaxed while indulged in a deep conversation with the Lifeline songstress.

As per the photos obtained by various outlets, Shawn kept it casual in a white tank top and blue jeans, paired with a brown blazer.

While , MARO  was wearing  navy blue trousers with a siege green top and a blue sweatshirt, which the singer was carrying in her hand.

Shawn's latest outing with MARO fulled a frenzy among fans regarding a potential music collaboration or new romance.

Shortly after the photos went viral, fans swamped the social networking platform X with queries.

 “Are they a couple or cooking something up in the studio?," asked one fan.

Another commented, “Shawn had been spotted with Portuguese singer MARO again. Shawn feat. MARO??.”

“MARO worldwide breakthrough?” noted a third.

The Senorita singer’s new public appearance with MARO comes months after he opened up about his sexuality.

“There’s this thing about my sexuality and people have been talking about it for so long…I am just figuring it out like everyone,” he said.

“It always felt like such an instruction on something very personal to me…. something I had yet to discover—and still have yet to discover," Shawn added.
