Celebs on Ozempic: Stars accused of using shocking weight loss drug

In case you haven’t noticed, more and more celebs are looking leaner and meaner as a new craze sweeps through Hollywood!

Weight loss medications, like Ozempic, have celebs in a chokehold with their ‘scientific’ properties that make you lose serious weight, seriously fast.

Here’s a list of some celebs that have admitted to using Ozempic and some that insist they have nothing to do with the drug but surprisingly appear to have lost more than just a few pounds in a few weeks!

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey has also been showing off a much more toned figure in recent years, and confirmed taking help of a weight loss drug for the same.

Talking to People late 2023, Winfrey admitted, “The fact that there’s a medically approved prescription for managing weight and staying healthier, in my lifetime, feels like relief, like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide behind and once again be ridiculed for.”

Winfrey did not confirm whether she used Ozempic or other similar weight loss medication.

Khloe Kardashian

Among the many celebs who have not only endorsed but admitted to using weight loss drugs, Khloe Kardashian is not one of them.

The reality star shut down accusations that she had used Ozempic to lose weight and look leaner and toned up in recent months, telling an Instagram user that she’s worked hard to look the way she does.

“Let's not discredit my years of working out. I get up five days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess new year still means mean people,” Kardashian said.

Meghan Trainor

All About that Bass singer Meghan Trainor came clean about her dramatic weight loss on her Instagram after fans pointed out her changed appearance at Billboard’s 2025 Women in Music Awards.

Trainor admitted to using the weight loss drug Mounjaro, telling followers, “I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me.”

“I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great,” she explained.

Rebel Wilson

Rebel Wilson admitted to using Ozempic in early 2024 after she lost a whopping 80 pounds!

Talking to the Sunday Times in March 2024, the Pitch Perfect star shared, “Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets, so I think those drugs can be good.”

Wilson also added that she is no longer on Ozempic.

Kelly Clarkson

Singer Kelly Clarkson also admitted in 2024 that she had used the help of a weight loss drug to shed some 60 pounds!

While Clarkson did not reveal the exact drug that she had used, she denied it being Ozempic, telling Whoopi Goldberg on her The Kelly Clarkson Show, “Mine is a different one than people assume, but I ended up having (medication) too, because my blood work got so bad.”

“Everybody thinks it is Ozempic — it’s not — it’s something else, but it’s something that aids in helping break down the sugar. Obviously, my body doesn’t do it right,” Clarkson shared.

Amy Schumer

Comedian Amy Schumer did not shy away from admitting to using Ozempic for weight loss and even opened up about her not-so-good experience with it, saying that she got ‘so skinny’ that she felt ‘sick’.

“I couldn’t play with my son. I was so skinny and he’s throwing a ball at me and… I couldn’t,” Schumer told Watch What Happens Live in June 2023.

Schumer even slammed other celebs who aren’t as honest about their weight loss, saying, “Everyone has been lying saying, ‘Oh smaller portions.’ Like, shut the f—up. You are on Ozempic or one of those things or you got work done. Just stop. Be real with the people. When I got lipo, I said I got lipo.”

Sharon Osbourne

Sharon Osbourne’s experience with an undisclosed weight loss drug was also not ideal, despite her losing 30 pounds in four months while on it.

The 72-year-old revealed on an episode of The Talk how ‘sick’ she felt while on the drug, saying, “The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever.”

Jessica Simpson

After Jessica Simpson appeared to have lost some serious weight in 2023, social media couldn’t help but wonder if she was on weight loss drugs like Ozempic.

Simpson denied using any drugs, telling Bustle, “Oh Lord… it is not. It's willpower.”

“Do people want me to be drinking again? Because that’s when I was heavier. Or they want me to be having another baby? My body can’t do it,” Simpson questioned, further asserting that all her weight loss was attributed to a healthier lifestyle.

Kyle Richards

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards also lashed out at people suggesting that she may be on weight loss drugs after a bikini photo of her showed off her toned figure.

Talking to Extra back in 2023, Richards said, “I cannot stand people saying I'm taking Ozempic because people that know me know that I'm up every day at like 5:30am 6am at the latest… I'm in the gym for two hours. I really put a lot of effort into my diet and exercise and taking care of myself, so when people like to think I took the easy way out, it's frustrating.”
