Finn Wolfhard debuts bold transformation ahead of 'Stranger Things' final season

Finn Wolfhard recently underwent a major hair transformation right before the final season of Stranger Things.

The 22-year-old actor debuted a new buzz cut while he attended the 2025 Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo on Sunday, May 23.

He was accompanied by his longtime pal and Stranger Things costar, Gaten Matarazzo.

For the occasion, Wolfhard donned a sparkly black-and-white suit jacket and trouser, which he paired it with black boots.

The costars’ appearance comes before the fifth and final season of Stranger Things release.

For the unversed, Wolfhard has been part of the show as Mike Wheeler since July 2016.

Last month, the Hell of a Summer actor spoke to People regarding his feelings about the finale season.

"I was so happy with my character's ending. I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy," Wolfhard shared.

He added, "I felt like I was in a dream or something. None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect."

Wolfhard shared that the ending took an emotional toll on everyone, he said, "But it ended really well, and I just have such positive things to say about everyone."

It is worth mentioning that the Stranger Things Season 5 is scheduled to release this year, with the official date yet to be announced.
