FKA twigs and Shia LaBeouf's lawsuit takes shocking turn
FKA Twigs had accused Shia LaBeouf of physical, mental and emotional abuse

FKA twigs and Shia LaBeouf's lawsuit has taken a shocking turn after the singer accused her former partner of physical, mental and emotional abuse.
In an unexpected turn of event, the 37-year-old English songwriter dropped her $10 million sexual battery lawsuit against ex-boyfriend, which she filed in 2020.
Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, in her latest filing, asked the court to dismiss all claims against the 39-year-old American actor, with prejudice which means the case is permanently closed and cannot be filed in the future.
Her lawyer, Bryan Freeman, in a statement stated, “Committed to forging a constructive path forward, we have agreed to settle our case out of court.”
While no further details of the settlement were shared and will remain private, both sides sent good thoughts for each other's future lives and jobs.
It is worth mentioning that FKA twigs and Shia LaBeouf fell for each other in 2018 after meeting on the set of the film Honey Boy, however, they split in May 2019 after nine months of dating.
