KPop 'Demon Hunters' star Ji-Young Yoo joins Eric Nam for Hybe’s untitled movie
The Paramount and Hybe’s untitled movie is scheduled for release in February, 2027

KPop Demon Hunters’ star Ji-Young Yoo teamed up with singer Eric Nam for an upcoming project.
According to THR, the KPop star and the singer are confirmed as lead actors in Paramount and Hybe’s untitled upcoming movie.
Ji-Young is currently star in the Netflix hit KPop Demon Hunters.
While Eric is known for a popular American K-pop singer based in South Korea.
The film’s director Benson Lee shared a statement, “This film is my love letter to K-pop – its energy, passion, magic, and the incredible community behind it.”
He continued, “I’m deeply grateful to Paramount Pictures for championing the project to our producers for their unwavering dedication, to our talented and dynamic cast and to the legends of the genre helping us bring this story to life.”
Eileen Shim, known for her work on House of the Dragon and Light As a Feather has written the script of the untitled film.
The film follows a young Korean American woman who chases her K-pop dreams by competing in an onscreen talent show going against her family's wishes.
Notably, it will be the first major American studio movie filmed entirely in South Korea.
The project was initially overseen by Michael Ireland at 20th Century Fox, then acquired by Paramount under Brian Robbins after Disney dropped it.
The untitled movie is scheduled for release on February 12, 2027.
