Pamela Anderson opened up about her career in Hollywood at the UK premiere of new movie The Naked Gun.

During an interview with PEOPLE on July 22, when questioned about how this new comedy compares to her earlier roles in movies like Scary Movie 3.

Anderson said, “I feel like I’ve just started my career now, so I’m just really excited to be such a part of this and to play a real character.”

In the film, the 58-year-old stars as Beth Davenport, a femme fatale who falls for Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson), a clumsy L.A. Police Squad lieutenant and son of Nielsen's character, in this update of the 1988 classic starring Leslie Nielsen and Priscilla Presley.

Last year, during an interview with the outlet Neeson praised Anderson’s hard work, said, “I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with, she’s going to be terrific in the film.”

The Baywatch actress’ role in The Naked Gun follows her critically acclaimed performance in The Last Showgirl, a poignant drama from director Gia Coppola.

Pamela Anderson earned rave reviews and awards recognition for The Last Showgirl including best actress Golden Globe and Oscar winners.

The Naked Gun is set to hit the theaters nationwide on Friday, August 1, 2025.
