Chappell Roan’s highly anticipated single ‘The Subway’ finally headed for release

Chappell Roan recently teased the release of her much-awaited single The Subway through the streets of New York.

Fans and locals observed posters for the single splashed across various areas in NYC, with the words “Going through a break up? Get bangs!” accompanying a picture of the 27-year-old musician herself.

It should be noted that the  Pink Pony Club singer has already played the single on many different occasions without a formal release, with her last performance of The Subway being from June, at Primavera Sound music festival in Barcelona.

Meanwhile, the teaser poster features a poorly edited set of bangs spliced with the Grammy winner’s image.

Additionally, the pop star’s fan blogs have also acquired sample footage from her upcoming release.

The video teasing the single includes vocals by Chappell, while also featuring a truck with the number plate, “THE SBWY”, alluding to the track’s title.

Earlier, Chappell Roan had released her last single The Giver in March, while The Subway is expected to arrive on August 1.
