Kelly Clarkson has struck a major deal involving some of her most iconic songs.

The Grammy-winning singer and American Idol alum has sold a portion of her music catalogue to investment firm HarbourView Equity Partners, reports Bang Premier.

The deal includes several of Clarkson’s biggest hits, such as Since U Been Gone, Because of You, Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) and Behind These Hazel Eyes, according to a statement released Thursday.

“My music is such a huge part of my journey, not just professionally, but personally,” Clarkson said in the statement.

“Knowing these songs will continue to be heard and discovered by new generations means everything to me. I’m grateful to HarbourView for valuing and supporting this catalogue the way they do,” she added.

HarbourView, led by former Tempo Music CEO Sherrese Clarke Soares, has been actively investing in entertainment assets across music, sports, and media.

The company has also previously acquired rights from other major artists in its bid to build a diverse portfolio of culturally significant IP.

Clarkson, who rose to fame as the first-ever winner of American Idol in 2002, has since become one of pop music’s most enduring voices
