Leonardo DiCaprio is in trouble in 'One Battle After Another' new trailer
The action-packed trailer features Leonardo's character and his daughter, Chase Infiniti
Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn face off in the exciting new trailer for One Battle After Another, hitting theaters on September 26, 2025.
Directed by BAFTA-winning filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, the movie stars DiCaprio, 50, as a former revolutionary on the run from Penn’s determined police officer, Steven Lockjaw.
The action-packed trailer, released by Warner Bros. on July 24, the scene features Leonardo's character and his daughter, Chase Infiniti, looking for a safe place with an ally named Sensei Sergio (Benicio del Toro) after Teyana Taylor’s character is taken by the police, who is Leo's wife and the mother of his daughter.
The star-studded cast includes Wood Harris, Alana Haim, and Regina Hall, who told PEOPLE she loved to join Anderson’s project, praising its humor and strong messaging.
“The cast is incredible—Leo, Benicio, Sean Penn, Teyana’s amazing,” Hall said.
DiCaprio, speaking at CinemaCon 2025, called the movie “epic” with “scope and scale,” and praised Anderson’s unique directing style.
This is Anderson’s first film since 2021’s Licorice Pizza, which earned three Oscar nominations. And Titanic star was last seen on the big screen in Killers of the Flower Moon, 2023.
