David Beckham's son Brooklyn Beckham celebrates granddad's birthday
Brooklyn Beckham has captured hearts this Wednesday when he shared touching birthday message of his grandfather, Ted Beckham, even despite an ongoing tension in the family of Beckhams.
David and Victoria Beckham eldest son and aspiring chef, 26-year-old took to Instagram, posting a sepia photo on him and his grandad.
It said nothing more than: “Happy birthday grandad xx I love you” a gesture most unusual as he had totally estranged himself to his paternal side in the last several months.
The message spread rapidly, and the fans were appreciating Brooklyn for remembering her ex-boyfriend in a sweet and genuine way, particularly just after several humiliations in the spotlight.
He and spouse Nicola Peltz especially did not attend the star-studded 50th birthday festivities of David Beckham and notably were not seen in the latest family photo of Victoria celebrating her own dad.
Gossip of a conflict between Brooklyn and his family has been seen ever since his 2022 wedding to Nicola, and online antagonism has been blamed on suppressed simmering tensions.
Although, David and Victoria Beckham, have not publicly recognized the post, some are hoping that the birthday message made by Brooklyn is an indirect move towards reuniting some torn family members.
It remains to be seen whether this is a start of reconciliation but the fans are optimistic.
