Drake fuels romance rumors with Kim Kardashian

Fans are buzzing about a possible romance between Kim Kardashian and Drake after both stars shared photos from what seems to be the same luxury destination in Lake Como, Italy.

Kim posted a series of glamorous Instagram photos captioned "Italy 2025" including one where she posed in a fitted black dress beside stone pillars overlooking the sparkling water as the fashion mougal's post quickly went viral with fans admiring her chic look but also pointing out the location’s striking similarity to a villa linked to Drake.

Around the same time, a popular real estate Instagram page posted images of the same Lake Como property, writing that "Drake recently stayed at a luxurious mansion on Lake Como, Italy known for its breathtaking views and lavish design" and fans immediately began comparing the two sets of photos as they convinced that the rapper and reality star may have been in the same place together.

One fan on a Kanye West Reddit forum wrote, "Streets saying Drake and Kim Kardashian a new couple," sharing side by side screenshots as "proof," as the online debate only grew louder as more users jumped in and some said they would not be surprised by the rumored pairing.

"He's been friends with the Kardashians forever, I wouldn't be surprised if they hook up from time to time," one Reddit user commented.

Another fan dismissed the speculation entirely, calling it "the most obvious PR stunt in history." Others joked about the internet’s detective work with one commenter writing, "They think it's the only place in Italy to have these pillars."

This is far from the first time Drake and Kim have been linked. In 2023, Drake released "Search & Rescue," which featured a sample of Kim talking with her mom Kris Jenner, something fans saw as a subtle confession of his feelings.

Kanye West, who finalised his divorce from Kim in 2021, also seemed to reference the speculation earlier this year when he posted on X, "These are the last times I get to diss Drake before Kim pops out cause then it looks like I'm hating."

Then, in March 2025, Drake reignited the conversation by reposting one of Kim’s videos to his Instagram Story. The clip showed her in a sleek black Chanel outfit while his song CRYING IN CHANEL played. He captioned the post with a single goat emoji, a gesture many fans saw as intentional.

The track, from his hit joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR titled $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, has been one of 2025’s biggest releases. Fans were quick to say Drake "knows exactly the kind of reaction this will garner," fueling even more rumors about a possible romance between the two stars.
