Many celebrities had to pave their way into the entertainment industry at the expense of leaving their education behind.

However, later in their careers, they decided to step out of the spotlight and pursue education.

Find out who they are:

Noah Schnapp

The star who garnered worldwide fame for his role in Netflix’s Stranger Things tried his best to balance his career and education simultaneously.

In 2021, Noah recorded a TikTok video opening an acceptance letter from the University of Pennsylvania.

"I wanted the real experience," he told Teen Vogue in 2022.

The Abe actor added, "I always knew from a young age I was going to finish high school, [and] I was going to go to college. It was never really a question for me, and becoming an actor didn't really change that. “

Megan Thee Stallion

Despite dominating pop culture, Megan was committed to earning a degree to honour her late mother.

She graduated from Texas Southern University with a bachelor’s in health administration.

"I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud," the Mamushi songstress told PEOPLE in 2020.

Glen Powell

After enrolling in the radio-television-film program at the University of Texas at Austin in 2007, Glen put his education on hold after completing his first year.

He then moved to Los Angeles to focus on his film career.

In 2024, the Anyone But You actor told IndieWire that he was going to resume his education.

"I'm not going to be sitting in a class with other students on the regular,” Glen said.

He added, “So, they're letting me figure it out [with] distance learning. And I'm obviously going to be coming in, Zooming in for classes and whatnot, but I have to be back for the proctored exams."

Emma Watson

After taking a hiatus from acting, the Harry Potter star enrolled at Brown University in 2009 and graduated with a degree in English Literature in 2014.

Emma continued to pursue further education as she then enrolled in a master’s program in Creative Writing at Oxford University

Later in 2015, Oxford Mail reported that Emma was pursing her doctorate.
