Popular TV shows that will continue their jounerys as movies
Here is a list of fan favourite series that will conclude as a movie

Some shows are just too good to end when the credits roll.
Over the years, several fan favourite series have found new life on the big screen, turning into full length movies that let the audience stay connected with their favourite characters.
These films, however, don’t just revisit the characters or the storyline for nostalgia, they expand on them, continue the tale and fill in any gaps, giving fans some closure.
Here are some iconic hit productions that are getting their own movie:
iCarly

After a shocking cancellation of the iCarly reboot back in 2023, fans can now be delighted to know that there is still hope just yet.
Miranda Cosgrove, who played Carly on the series, has given an optimistic update on the future of the movie.
The 32-year-old actress has given an exciting update regarding the Paramount+ reboot left fans hanging with a shocking cliffhanger in the finale.
She revealed that the script is almost at completion and filming will commence in early 2026.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, on September 12, 2025, The Wrong Paris star shared, "The script is almost finished and it looks like we’re gonna be filming it early next year, so I’m really excited."
"I think the biggest challenge now is going to be casting the character that’s gonna be the mom because that’s a character I don’t think any of us ever really thought we were gonna meet within that universe, so we just really want to make sure we get it right," she added.
Community

Six seasons and a movie! At least that is what was promised to the fans.
Ever since the hit sitcom came to an end in 2015, fans have been expecting and waiting on the Community Movie.
In 2022, NBC’s streaming platform officially announced that Dan Harmon’s show would indeed be getting a movie, with much of their original cast.
The announcement finally delivered on one of Community’s famous and repeated jokes, with Abed, played by Danny Pudi, often claiming the show would have ‘six seasons and a movie.’
Although fans were assured that a movie would be happening, there is no official release date that has been set.
The Summer I Turned Pretty

Summer isn’t over just yet.
The hit Young Adult series based on Jenny Han’s novel trilogy will continue on as a movie, confirmed by Amazon Prime Video after coming to an end on September 17, 2025.
As of right now, the exact storyline of the movie hasn’t been released but the movie is expected to pick up from where the third and final season’s finale episode left off.
The exciting news was confirmed during the series’ finale red carpet celebration in Paris, France.
"There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due," Jenny explained.
"I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision for this story and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans," she added.
