Elon Musk has urged Tesla shareholders worldwide to cast their votes ahead of the company’s highly anticipated annual shareholder meeting.

Scheduled for November 6, 2025, the event is expected to decide on one of the most significant pay deals in corporate history, one that could potentially make Musk the world’s first trillionaire.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk responded to a user’s tweet, writing, “Here’s how to vote your Tesla stock,” and encouraged investors to follow the board’s recommendations on all proposals.

He also shared detailed instructions for shareholders on how to vote through their brokerage accounts, using the control numbers provided in their voting materials.

For voting assistance, Tesla has issued helpline numbers for investors across regions, one for the US and Canada (+1 877 717 3936), another for international shareholders (+1 412 232 3651), and a separate line for banks and brokers (+1 212 750 5833).

The upcoming vote has a major significance. If approved, Musk’s proposed compensation package would hinge on Tesla achieving a market capitalisation of $8.5 trillion and meeting performance goals, including delivering 12 million EVs, producing one million Optimus humanoid robots, and reaching $400 billion in annual earnings by 2035.

Notably, recently, Musk also made headlines for warning he could leave Tesla if shareholders reject the deal, adding extra drama to what’s shaping up to be one of the most talked-about shareholder meetings in years.
