Kevin Spacey is set to appear in a London civil court to face three more claims pertaining to sexual assault — after he was acquitted of previous charges in July 2023.

Per Variety, the 66-year-old actor has been sued by three men “over allegations that he assaulted them between 2000 and 2013.”

Further reporting revealed that the estimated trial date has been set for October 12, 2026 by a high court in the English capital. Though it is not yet clear “if the claims will be heard in a single civil trial or three consecutive ones.”

Spacey was previously absolved of all the nine claims of sexual offence against him just two years earlier. He has also formally denied two of the new allegations, “but has not yet filed a defense for the third.”

While the only claimant to file the latest claims without anonymity is Ruari Cannon, who has alleged that the House of Cards star had groped him during a party in 2013 while he was appearing in a play at the Old Vic. Spacey was the theatre’s artistic director at the time.

Kevin Spacey recently made headlines after claiming that he is currently homeless. However, he quickly clarified his previous comments via social media and said that he “was basically living in hotels and Airbnbs and going where the work is, just as I did when I first started out in this business.”
