‘Stranger Things’ stars reveal the presents they have receieved from ‘generous’ Winona Ryder
Winona Ryder is the loving onscreen mom to Charlie Heaton in Stranger Things and offscreen, she is an even more “generous” adult to her young castmates.
Heaton and his co-star, Joe Keery, revealed in a new interview with Elle UK that Ryder presented the two actors with almost identical vintage presents.
While the British performer received an ‘80s Clash t-shirt from his screen mother, his American peer boasted about “a beautiful, amazing, old Pink Floyd t-shirt” which he was told belonged to the late singer-songwriter Elliot Smith.
“I guess it’s like, she’s such a generous person, and you know, she’s a great gift giver,” Heaton admitted.
While Keery echoed his co-star’s sentiments and revealed that he doesn’t “even wear” his vintage gift from Ryder to keep it safe.
Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery were also joined by their other co-star, Natalia Dyer, during the interview, where they discussed their earliest memories on the Stranger Things set to the recent goodbyes, and everything in between.
