Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has shared the artists she would love to collaborate with in the future, as she continues promoting her upcoming album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.

The 23-year-old singer made the comments during a recent interview with Dazed Digital, where she named alternative rock icons PJ Harvey and Fiona Apple as her top dream collaborators.

“I’ve been listening to a lot of PJ Harvey lately. And Fiona Apple,” Rodrigo said. “I think those two were just doing something so special and raw and unfiltered. I would love to meet and hang with them.”

When asked about potential collaborations with other contemporary artists, including Sabrina Carpenter, Rodrigo laughed off the idea while keeping the door open to future projects.

“Oh, gosh. I mean, I’m open… I’m open to all types of collaboration,” she said.

Rodrigo is currently in the middle of a busy promotional tour, recently appearing at BBC Studios in London ahead of her album release on June 12.

Fans welcomed the Good 4 U hitmaker as she arrived for the interview, where she showcased a black-and-white polka-dot dress paired with a bright green cropped sweater vest.

Beyond music, Rodrigo also spoke candidly about coping with heartbreak, offering a grounded perspective on relationships and emotional recovery.

“It’s like the blind leading the blind! I’m not, like, Mrs Relationship. I’m not super sage and wise,” she said.

“But I do think that being with your friends is best. I don’t know what I would have done when going through hard times if I didn’t have great friends.”
