'Regretting You's Mason Thames makes shocking comment about co-star Dave Franco
Mason Thames and Dave Franco starred in 'Regretting You' together
Mason Thames has come forward and revealed what it was really like working with Now You See Me star Dave Franco.
While chatting with People, the 18-year-old actor opened up about the actors he looked up to for inspiration during his acting career, naming, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, River Phoenix and Timothée Chalamet.
However, the went ahead to single out one acotr for helping him navigate the spotlight: David Franco.
Talking about his co-star, who played Jonah Sullivan in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Regretting You, Mason raved about the actor, describing him as "amazing."
"He's such an amazing person," he stated.
Continuing, "Genuinely, he's such a mentor for me in this crazy, crazy world. And it's nice to just have somebody to call and just talk to. I just have somebody like that, and it's really great."
The pair instantly hit it off after meeting on set of the film, which also stars Mckenna Grace, Allison Williams, Scott Eastwood and Willa Fitzgerald, and Mason has since been cast in the 40-year-old actor's upcoming comedy, The S---heads.
"We went straight into another job together right after Regretting You," Black Phone actor revealed . "And that's where we really figured out that, I think, we're the same person. It was so great. It was so, so great."
"Dave is so funny and he just brings this vibe to the set. It's just so great to work with him. I hope I do it again because he's such a sweetheart," he further added about the Together actor.
