Elon Musk has once again ignited debate after claiming that AI will control most media content creation within just two years.

Speaking during a long-form interview with entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath, the tech billionaire predicted that over 90% of new digital content would soon be generated by advanced systems like xAI’s upcoming Grok-3 model.

According to Musk, the technology could produce full-length films from a simple text prompt, posing a direct challenge to Hollywood studios.

He also highlighted real-time video generation and gaming as sectors where artificial intelligence (AI) could become most transformative, though he acknowledged current models still struggle with long-form narrative consistency.

While Musk praised the rapid progress of AI tools, industry experts were far less enthusiastic.

Directors’ groups warned such a shift could endanger hundreds of thousands of creative jobs, while major streaming platforms insisted they will not accept fully AI-made content without meaningful human oversight.

Lastly, Musk suggested that as AI floods the digital world, real human-led live experiences will rise sharply in value, a trend he believes could reshape both entertainment and the economy.
