Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman take the helm at 2026 Met Gala
The event will also see Zoë Kravitz and designer Anthony Vaccarello co-chairing the committee
Beyoncé and Nicole Kidman have been announced as co-chairs for the 2026 Met Gala, the annual fashion fundraiser held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
According to The Independent, the “Crazy in Love” singer and Moulin Rouge! star will lead next year’s star-studded event, joining tennis legend Venus Williams and longtime Met Gala overseer Anna Wintour.
The gala’s 2026 theme, Costume Art, will explore the connection between clothing and the body beneath.
Next year marks Beyoncé’s first Met Gala appearance since 2016, when she wore Givenchy Haute Couture. Kidman and Williams, both familiar faces at the gala, including at this year’s Superfine-themed event, will bring their signature elegance to the evening.
The 2026 Met Gala will also see Zoë Kravitz and designer Anthony Vaccarello co-chairing the Host Committee, alongside other confirmed members including Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, Elizabeth Debicki, and Lena Dunham.
The event is scheduled for Monday, May 4, 2026.
