Prince Harry, Meghan Markle secretly drop new Netflix bombshell
Duke and Duchess of Sussex release new show as part of multi-year, first look deal with streaming giant
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle secretly dropped new documentary show on Netflix, which was inspired by their son, Prince Archie.
The documentary, titled Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within, is a part of their “multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects” agreement with the streaming giant, which they signed earlier in August.
The show described the “story behind the Uganda-based YouTube dance sensations who have endured devastating personal loss from famine and war, and use the power of dance and song to overcome hardship”.
It came after Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are the producers of this project, reportedly donated $50,000 to Masaka Kids Africana through their Archewell Foundation via GoFundMe.
Before the documentary was announced, a spokesperson for the Sussexes told The Telegraph, “Harry and Meghan would watch the videos regularly with Archie at home. So, they were already admirers of the organisation before the film project came to them in 2023.”
It is worth noting that the documentary had so far garnered positive reviews from the viewers on IMDB.
One wrote, “This documentary is lovely. It made me regain faith in humanity and the power of caring.”
Another remarked, “. It's a must-watch for anyone interested in stories of hope and the capacity to rise above challenges.”
