Sharon Osbourne reveals King Charles sent personal letter after Ozzy's passing
Ozzy passed away in July at the age of 76, only weeks after performing in a show
Sharon Osbourne has revealed the touching gesture King Charles made after the death of her husband, legendary Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.
Speaking on forthcoming Piers Morgan Uncensored, Sharon became emotional as she shared that the King sent a handwritten letter of condolence the day after Ozzy died.
The heavy metal icon passed away in July at the age of 76, only weeks after performing a major farewell show with the band he founded in 1968.
According to Sharon, the letter was personally delivered to her home.
“His Majesty sent me a letter the next day… King Charles had it hand delivered,” she told the programme, via The Sun. “It said just how sorry he was.”
Sharon added that the King and Ozzy shared a warm connection over the years. “He knew Ozzy. He knew we met him several times, and he's always been so gracious with Ozzy, and they would always laugh together… He got Ozzy. He got him…”
