Zooey Deschanel cheers on Katy Perry's relationship with former Canadian leader Justin Trudeau
Zooey Deschanel is fully on board with Katy Perry’s relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, on December 11, the New Girl alum cheered on the pair’s budding romance.
In the episode a fan questioned the 45-year-old actress about her thoughts on "Katy Perry hard launching her relationship with Justin Trudeau?”
To which Zooey responded by admitting she was a fan of the new lovebirds, saying, “I love it. I’m so in.”
The (500) Days of Summer actress also went on to compare the romance to her own fiancé Jonathan Scott, who happens to be from the same country as the former leader.
“I’m with a Canadian guy. She’s with a Canadian guy!” she quipped with enthusiasm.
Katy and Justin made things official earlier this month by debuting their romance on Instagram.
The Last Friday Night hitmaker posted a heartfelt update, sharing a carousel of their time in Japan.
“Tokyo times on tour and more,” she penned in the caption.
