The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress hails Amanda Seyfried as ‘brilliant’ in new film
Selena Gomez has recently expressed her admiration for Amanda Seyfried's impressive performance in the upcoming film, The Testament of Ann Lee.
On Friday, December 12, the 33-year-old singer and actress attended a special screening in Los Angeles ahead of the movie’s limited theatrical release.
A day later, Gomez took to her Instagram Stories to share her honest reaction to Seyfried's acting.
“Have to say, this was one of the most beautiful films I’ve seen in a while…such insane performances, congratulations to the whole team,” the Only Murders in the Building actress wrote over a photo taken inside the cinema, featuring the movie’s title displayed on the big screen.
In the next slide, Gomez shared a photo of herself posing with Seyfried.
“Too many to chose from but Amanda you were brilliant in this one," she stated. (Sic)
The latest event boosted buzz around the film’s much-anticipated release following its successful world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September 2025.
The Testament of Ann Lee, starring Amanda Seyfried, is set for a limited US theatrical release on Christmas Day 2025, with a UK release scheduled for February 2026.
