Ice Cube returns for a cameo in 'Anaconda' remake after 28 years
The movie is helmed by Tom Gormican of 'Ghosted', featuring an amazing cast
Ice Cube makes a comeback in the classic Anaconda franchise.
At the Los Angeles premiere on December 13, 28 years after starring in the 1997 original, the actor surprised fans with a cameo in the new comedic tone installment, starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd.
Speaking on the red carpet, the actor said, “It’s cool to do a cameo, to kind of make it go full circle.
When they asked me to do it, and I saw the kind of movie they were making, I jumped at it. People probably get a kick out of me popping on the screen.”
Moreover, the story revolves around two best friends who decided to make a version of their own of the classic hit.
But drastically failed when they encountered a real giant serpent (Anaconda) in the Amazon rain forest, the trailer suggests.
The movie is directed by Tom Gormican of Ghosted, the movie has a talented cast featuring Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, Selton Mello, and Steve Zahn.
In addition, Anaconda is set to release in theaters on December 25.
