Lindsay Lohan joins 'The Simpsons' as future Maggie Simpson
Lohan will play Future Maggie in a time-travel storyline in the animated series
Lindsay Lohan is heading to Springfield and she’s giving Maggie Simpson a voice.
The Freaky Friday star has been confirmed to voice a future version of Maggie in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons, calling the role a “dream come true.”
The episode, titled Parahormonal Activity, will air on December 14, 2025, on Fox in the US, according to the network.
Lohan will play Future Maggie in a time-travel storyline, a format long loved by fans of the animated series. The episode is expected to arrive in the UK when Season 37 lands on Disney+ on January 14, 2026.
The actress shared the news on Instagram, writing: “Catch me on #TheSimpsons this Sunday on FOX! What a dream come true to be part of this iconic family,” alongside a teaser clip of her voicing an older Maggie.
In the preview, Maggie is moments away from speaking when Marge steps in, saying, “Maggie, Maggie, rest your voice! You’re still getting over that laryngitis!”
Viewers then hear Lohan’s Maggie nervously plead, “Please don’t let Bart drive… It’s too scary!”
While Maggie is famously silent, the character has been voiced by major stars over the years, including Jodie Foster, Viola Davis and Elizabeth Taylor.
The appearance comes as The Simpsons marks its 36th anniversary and gears up for its milestone 800th episode, expected to air in February.
