Georgina Rodriguez on Ronaldo’s $3m engagement ring: ‘least he could offer me’

Georgina Rodriguez is finally sharing what went through her mind when Cristiano Ronaldo popped the question after nearly a decade together.

The 31-year-old model and influencer announced her engagement to the football icon in August, posting a photo of a dazzling diamond ring that instantly grabbed attention online.

Now, Georgina has revealed the moment was far more overwhelming.

“It’s gorgeous. It’s the least he could offer me after 10 years of waiting,” she joked in an interview with ELLE Spain. “The truth is, when he proposed, it was the last thing on my mind.”

“It took me a long time to process the enormous stone he gave me. I was so shocked that I left it in my room and didn’t open it in the sunlight until the next day,” she said with a laugh.

Reflecting on her relationship with Ronaldo, she described their bond as something deeper than attraction. 

“I felt a connection that went far beyond the physical,” she shared, adding, “I can’t say I foresaw my destiny or that I knew ten years later we’d have five children, but I did feel something inexplicable.”

The ring Georgina showed off is widely reported to be worth around $3 million, according to estimates circulating after the announcement.
